Overseas Property Owner? How We Managed Their Full Bathroom Renovation

In this instance, an owner was preparing to move back into their property after a long period of renting it out and wanted to make changes that better suited both their needs and the future use of the house. At the time, the owner was living overseas, meaning they were unable to be on site to monitor the project themselves.

One of the key issues was the bathroom. At over 6ft 5, the owner couldn’t stand comfortably in the existing shower, and the bath was no longer required. The property was also going to be used as a holiday home during race weekends, so the bathroom needed to be practical, durable, and easy to use.

The owner sent us a selection of Pinterest images to show the style and layout they liked. Using these as a starting point, we worked out the most effective use of the space, removing the bath, increasing head height in the shower, and creating a clean, functional bathroom suited to both long-term living and short stays.

Once the layout was agreed, we obtained competitive quotes and coordinated the works on the owner’s behalf. Because the owner was overseas, we provided weekly updates on progress and managed the project closely to ensure every detail was catered for and the work was completed to a high standard.

When the project was finished, the owner was delighted with the transformation and particularly pleased to see the clear difference between the before and after, confident that the project had been delivered exactly as discussed, despite not being able to attend in person.
